Tom Doctoroff is one of Asia’s most respected advertising professionals and also a leading expert in Chinese consumer psychology. Since 1992 at JWT, he joins its HK bureau in 1994 as Regional Business Director, moves to China in 1998 as Managing Director of JWT Shanghai, is appointed Northeast Asia Area Director (China, Taiwan, HK & Korea) and Greater China CEO in 2002. A pan-asiatic & chinese unique experience that allows him to appear regularly on TV (CNBC, NBC, Bloomberg…), to be frequently featured in Business Week, the FT, WSJ, New York Times… and to speak at conferences worldwide. Tom was awarded in 2004 the “Magnolia Government Award (白玉兰政府纪念奖)” the highest honor given by the Shanghai municipal government to expatriates, was selected as an Official Torchbearer for the Beijing 2008 Olympics and is the author of 2005 best-seller «Billions: Selling to the New Chinese Consumer »

Catherine Becker has a background in philosophy (ENS, PHD) and social anthropology (PHD) with a specialty in Asia (Indonesia, Sri Lanka), and over 20 years experience on qualitative studies and international branding, predominantly in the domains of luxury, cosmetics and alcohol, especially as General manager of Sorgem International (1997-2010). In 2010, she founded Metis-Jujing in Shanghai, a market research and branding company. She teaches MBA programs at Celsa (Expert on International brands/Specialist on developing countries (BRICS such as China, India, etc.) and is the author of « Du Ricard dans mon Coca » (2002), and the forthcoming « Marques in China » (Fayard)
